We have the experience and skills to support people with quite complex needs, including those with a combined physical and learning disability as well as those with autism.
Our caring staff are very person-centred and provide a flexible service. The type of tasks we support all relate to improved independence such as helping to shop ensuring clients are managing their letters and bills, helping clients if they move homes, supporting people through emergencies, keeping healthy and safe and supporting at social events and activities within their local community.
All clients have individual support plans that address their needs and identify what they expect from the service. Clients have access to other services and facilities within Glebe House, such as social clubs and trips so there are plenty of opportunities to make new friends. This is really important. We support people to feel part of their local communities and develop their own local friends too
