Activity Days
The aim of the Adult Activity Days is to give a group of adults the opportunity to get together socially and enjoy a day together in holiday time. They are supported by qualified, trained staff along with volunteers of similar age.
The Adult Activity Days take place on 11 separate days throughout the year during the holidays. We have a maximum of 20 young adults aged 18 – 35 years, who may attend college courses, residential or other day services.
The group meet at Shepshed (The Old School) at 9.30am returning at 3.30pm. The group meet together on the first Thursday to discuss and decide upon the programme of activities for the rest of the year. Activities that have proved popular in the past are bowling, cinema, visits to theme parks and pub lunches etc.
